I was an original resident at Jackson's Landing, moved into a brand-new never-occupied 2-bedroom in the summer of 1973 -- 37 years ago. What a gorgeous place it was then for newlyweds. The pool was beautiful and perfectly maintained. There was no problem with parking, noise, construction woes. Everything worked, and everyone was very happy. There were no complaints. We moved out in 1974 to relocate to another city, but I remember Jackson't Landing so fondly that I Googled it to see if it's still there. I'm disappointed to see from the reviews that this once-lovely complex seems to have fallen on hard times. I guess nothing lasts forever, but for anyone looking at Jackson's Landing, oh, you should have seen it when it was new.
