First off I signed up for this apartment for 6 months, then only on the day of move in do they come out with actually that they actually rented that unit that they showed me to someone else. I believed at the time and still do that this may have been related to my being pretty young and therefore I think it lends itself to people trying to take advantage of you. So, I did agree to accept the alternative. I actually liked the apartment complex. However, the crime problem there was becoming apparent. After I left I saw on the news that a child was shot inside one of the apartments and on the day I moved out there were about 6 police cars under my balcony as they were taking someone away on something unrelated. Incidentally this person appeared to be the same I had found near my vehicle when the car alarm was going off one afternoon. I thought about renting there again only because it was cheaper than the other place. But when I drove up it was apparent that the gate didn't do anything to keep criminals out. The parking was good, the price was good, it was in good condition though. I'll say that there were no problems in that regard.
