I can't say enough about the staff, so I will keep it brief; they are awesome! Rent is high and so are my expectations for security and facilities. The apartments are nice, recent construction. There are some cheap aspects of the construction (drywall, hinges, shower tile, parts of the fire sprinklers). Nothing unexpected given the lax attitude of most construction contractors. My apartment had nothing at all wrong with it and was very clean when I moved in. The parking and security system are excellent but it is a little annoying to always carry around a key FOB, I feel like a janitor most days. I find people often tailgate into the apartments and/or ask you to let them in. I suppose this isn't a big deal if you remain vigilant for crime like any city location. The grounds are always clean but the immediate neighborhood could use a little clean up by the city (literally, it is litter strewn) but it had come a long way mostly due to apartment and shopping redevelopment. Mid City in general is improving and rent reflects this. I just wish the city of NO would pave some streets! The pool, courtyard, fitness center, computer room, and all common areas are nice but that is to be expected with rent this high! It might be time to replace some of the carpet and align some doors in the halls. This place is section 8, mixed income. I am not 100% sure how this shakes out (if the lower rent is paid for by tax dollars or my rent is accordingly higher). Either way it is something to consider if that type of thing bothers you. I think it is a good program to help people out and I believe the leasing company still does criminal and credit checks on all occupants. Pet policy is cool, I like dogs, just don't have the time/flexibility to have my own. They have a small pet park. Something else to consider.
