Park Villa Apartments

I have lived in this apartment complex and know previous employees of the management company. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone with a family or small children. Most of the tenants that do not mind living here are elderly or college students. The apartments are cheap, the rooms may be larger than some of the newer complexes, and the surrounding neighborhood is pleasant. The manager at this site is nice but she doesn't/can't do much to help the place. There are just too many negatives for me to justify the $150/mo savings. The apartments were built before they outlawed asbestos and lead paint, the appliances are ancient and don't even include a microwave. There is no fence/gate around the property, parking is not what well-lit and secure, doors and locks are old, air ducts/ac units are connected to different units so you better not mind strange smells or smoking. If your neighbor smokes it seeps into your apartment due to poor insulation. If something breaks plan on it being "rigged" back together. EVERYTHING IS OLD and needs to be replaced. I suggest they bulldoze the place and start over.
