Park Villa Apartments

We looked here because of the fact that it was cheep. And it was just that. We were informed that there was Asbestos in the walls after we had signed the lease. This can be a major issue if you have kids. We were told that the babysitter had to apply to stay there and have their name on the lease. The neighbors were entirely too nosy. And when we tried to move out the manager made up dozens of fees in order to move out.
As for the acutal apartment not too much worked there. We went 3 months without a light in the refidgerator making complaint after complait until we broke down and bought a new bulb. Only TWO of the doors in the apartment actually closed. The stairs going up to the apartment were old rusted and falling in on themselves. The walls are very thin, so you better get to know your neighbors pretty well. We were woken up many nights to music or explicit acts anywhere from midnight to 600 in the morning.
The laundy facilities are tiny compared to the amount of people in the apartments, and more that once our clothes were taken out of the washer and just left out.

ALSO< DO not bring pets. We do not even have a pet but agreed to watch a friends dog for a few days, the manager charged us the $500 NON REFUNDABLE pet charge, and claimed to have to replace all of the carpet, which was old and ratty when we moved in.

This is NOT a place to have your family. If you are looking for a place, trust me go and spend a little more a month. You will have to pay that much here by the time the manager gets to you!!!!!!!!!
