I liked living at the Pier-Landing. Office staff was very friendly. Maintenance was always on top of things. The worst thing was my apartment persistently smelled like cigarette smoke even though I do not smoke. When I told the office this they pretty much said there was nothing they could do as they already re-carpeted the place before I moved in :-/ The walls are paper thin in the bedrooms, so don't expect to get much sleep if your neighbors fight or listen to loud music late at night. Other than that it was a good community and a beautiful complex. I miss how much space I had here and the office staff. If I ever move back to Shreveport I'd stay here again, though I'd request a hardwood unit instead.
