Where should I start?
~~Black mold in my laundry room...not removed, just "treated, kilz applied" and closed back up.
~~parking areas are not lit very well. 80% of exterior lights on buildings are out. Lights in yard areas are out.
~~Tenants are allowed to park in handicapped areas, illegally, and nothing is ever done. When someone is legitimately handicapped they don't have access to the right parking area.
~~Tenants leave their trash bags outside on their porches (not all of them, but some) and when a complaint is put in Darlene got extremely arrogant with me.
Smoke alarms are not installed in some apartments, just wired hanging lose from ceilings. Several neighbors have told me about theirs being this way and the apt I moved from was this way; my daughter's apt has 2 this way. It's just not safe if you don't have the alarms to warn you of a fire/smoke.
~~Some tenants are grilling on their porches which is a HUGE fire hazard! Our lease says NO GRILLS ALLOWED, yet only some tenants are chosen to be harrassed about this and others can grill right on their balcony/porch.
~~I've seen tenants with dogs stuck on their porch for an unknown amount of time without food/water and they are as skinny as they should never be. Nothing is done about it. Feces and urine everywhere, stench unbearable! Seems the management doesn't make rounds of the property to check things out.
The list could go on and on. Just be careful if you decide to rent here. It looks really nice on the outside, the units are very nice and seem upscale, but the management of the property is aweful! A complete overhaul is overdue!
