Please reach out if there are any specific issues with over-excited dogs near your home. We love being pet-friendly as people won't move if they can't have their pets. That being said it is important that we do our best to manage any issues to assure all residents can enjoy their living experience at Rolling Green. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about our community. We're sorry to hear that you don't feel you have had the type of experience our I know our team aims to deliver. As you stated, we are pet-friendly but this was also the case under the previous management and was not a new change. That being said we believe in allowing people to live with their pets as long as they are responsible and respectful of their neighbors. If there are ever noise issues we ask that you report them to the office so we can attempt to resolve them with the pet owner. This can often be challenging but our team does their best to make sure everyone can enjoy living at our pet-friendly community. In regard to communication, our team works to keep everyone informed through flyers and emails and will be doing more to focus on this moving forward. We've setup social media channels to help increase the sense of community and create a central online space for sharing communications. We've also had a few well attended resident events this past year which the team put a lot of time and effort into hosting. When we took over management, the feedback received from residents as well as the town of Amherst was that parking had historically been an issue. In an effort to resolve this critical issue we rolled out the new sticker system. There was an initial grace period in place to ensure everyone was well aware of the new system. That grace period has since ended and we are strictly enforcing the policy to assure that the previous parking issues are eliminated. Our team works hard every day to make sure that Rolling Green is a place where people want to move to and stay at for a long time. Your feedback will help us reach this goal and I hope you will stop by the office to discuss these or any other issues further. Thank you for posting your thoughts about living at Rolling Green. Reading these reviews and hearing resident feedback is important to me, as we use it to make our community better for all of our residents. If mice are ever reported in the community, we will set traps (with the resident's permission) and make sure our exterminator visits the unit during their twice-monthly visits. If it is an urgent matter, we call the extermination and have them come out the next day. Please let us know if you have an issues with pests that you need us to take care of. Thank you for taking the time to post your honest feedback. I do want our residents to be proud to call Rolling Green their home, and so I read every review posted about our community. It is important to know where our residents think we missed the mark, as well as where we have done well - so that we can improve Rolling Green for everyone. I am sorry you have had a negative experience, and I would be happy to discuss any of your concerns with you. In researching your service requests, I did not see a request placed regarding the clicking sound and I would like to further understand the issue. Courtesy Officers at the community will approach residents who are having a large gathering if it is too loud, or there is outdoor drinking of alcohol. This is done to protect our residents from having complaints placed against them for unreasonable noise and to enforce the Town of Amherst's no open containers law. Our snow guidelines were emailed to all residents, but please let me know if you need a copy. When snow is projected, off-street parking is not allowed. Snow plows can not safely keep the road open for emergencies during bad weather when cars are parked on the street. Weather forecasts in our area can be tricky, and snow does not always fall in the quantities predicted. Tickets issued at Rolling Green come with no fines, however if a resident consistently parks in a no-parking zone when it snows, they can be towed off property. Towing is not something we do carelessly. We appreciate your coorperation with this policy, and apologize for any confusion. We were able to speak recently regading the late payment issue, though I would be happy to address this again if you still have questions. As for your concern about pricing, we do adjust rates to best reflect the current market value for the types of apartments available.
