I moved to Southpoint in 2010 and I like my individual unit becasue it is spacious and clean however I can't say the same about the entire building (42). The laundry room is unfortunately not clean and needs quite a few updates (the washers are beginning to rust). It is obvious that management does not bother with basic house-keeping in common areas such as vacuming, sweeping, dusting etc. There is also some quite a bit of noise, the floors and walls are hollow so it's common to hear doors slamming, washing machienes, and other people talking below or beside me. Luckily there are not a ton of college students living in my building so there isn't partying or loud music.
It's nice that the heat is regulated by room so that you can keep the bill low in winter months, but don't rely on management to clear the lot in a timely manner after a snow storm.
