The apartments are tiny, and very poorly maintained. The buildings are un-insulated and the heating systems is anemic at best. The drains, well, they don't. You can expect the circa 1950 electric oven to work improperly while driving your electric bill through the roof. (Or you'll learn to stop using it like I did.) This is the single most noisy apartment I have ever lived in. (Even when no one is home the buildings make noises!) Much of this noise could be silenced by carpeting and insulation but the penny pinching ways of management ensure this will never be an option. You can get more for your money somewhere else in the area. Keep looking! Don't be a fool and jump into a lease (like I did) simply because it's close to the 'T'!
