You can hear your neighbors walking around, music through the walls, the water running in other apartments - walls are paper thin and there doesn't seem to be anything between floors. There's also a bed bug problem in several of the buildings and the management company is a bit shady, keeping low income apartments empty for months because they're trying to do away with low-income units. The parking rules are absurd, snow removal doesn't begin until afternoon of the day after it snows, and the property manager drives around tracking who has visitors and is a frequent visitor to the Bedford police department. It's not as bad as living in a refugee camp and if you don't mind hearing your neibhors peeing in the middle of the night you might just survive it.
