I have to disagree with some of the previous poor ratings. Our stay here has been nothing but wonderful. Yes there is plenty of people living here, a short wait for the elevators and occasional maintenance issues--but those come with any huge 300 unit building. The location, access to the T, great fitness and public spaces, little doggie park, parking garage, on-site zipcar, a top notch concierge team, and an unbeatable office and maintenance staff is why we love living here. From our first site visit, to today, this properties team gives 150%, as I would expect of them. I've managed hotels and properties for over 15 years, and I'd hire any of the staff here to work with me. I know in the past, this building underwent a HUGE renovation, which explains the noise and construction complaints in 2012/13. We've lived here since Summer 2013 and have loved it. The view is amazing either East or West. It's a quiet place once you're above the 5th floor, (hey, it's a city), the heating and air units work properly and cool/heat adequately in their spaces, the elevators and hallways are clean, mopped/vacuumed daily, and the maintenance crew does an amazing, fast fix of any issue we have-small or large. Overall, the PRO's certainly outweigh the CON's here. For the price, you can't beat the service, location or views...we spent 2 months researching our home when we moved here. Having a rather new large shopping center 2 blocks away, and over 30 restaurants within 5 blocks, several places of worship, schools and medical/dental offices, it's a great neighborhood where we feel safe walking home late at night, or early for a morning run.
