Longwood Galleria Apartments

It's has a great location that is very attractive to the people working in the hospitals. The convenience of the Galleria food court and a CVS on the ground level is appealing. But stay away unless you are willing to put up with the frustrations of a building that keeps breaking down and a management company, the Druker company, that can't fix any major issue within a week. For example, the elevators typically have a major breakdown on average once every two months. Each time, the response from the management is that parts need to be ordered and won't arrive for another four plus days after the problems have been identified days earlier. In May 2010, floors 13-24 were without hot water for over a week because of a boiler breakdown. Again, it took so long to fix because new parts had to be ordered and they supposedly couldn't be delivered more quickly. One can only conclude that the Druker company has no idea how to do regular maintenance of apartment complexes to prevent major breakdowns. Another red flag for a prospective renter. You may get a great cell signal since the building is a cell tower, and probably for a number of wireless companies. Its roof is filled with multi-directional cellular antenna arrays. Just look up from a block away.
