Resident 2019 - 2020

1/29/2020

If I could give zero stars I would. I had to make three appointments just to sign the lease as the management was nowhere to be found. When they finally were able to hold their appointment it took over an hour for me to sign a piece of paper because of their disorganization. Upon moving in it took three months for my buzzer, which is routed to a cell phone, to work simply because they insisted my 774 number is not a Massachusetts number (It is based out of the South Shore of MA). The AC did not work during the hot month of June (I was on the 5th floor) and I had to spend almost 1K out of pocket to alleviate this issue. They lost one of my rent checks and gave me a notice to quit (issue was alleviated by me immediately by putting a stop payment on the previous check and issuing a new check) without any personal interaction. They then gave me a eviction notice for a months rent being missed that I had the receipt for! Additional issues include elevators not working for a week (There is no secure stair access from the ground floor so doors were unlocked 24/7 for anyone to enter) and rodent infestation. Although the location is impeccable, do yourself a favor and stay away so long as Peabody Properties are in charge
