over the most recent 365 day period. The index is presented as a familiar letter grade format to help renters evaluate all aspects of life at a community.
SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

As far as dogs, we do always ask that residents pick up after their pets, and we provide more than enough bags and pet stations to help with this. Maintenance also cleans up when needed. As mentioned in other responses, our rates our competitive, and can fluctuate due to market changes. We always do our best to keep residents updated at the time of their renewal. As for the water issue, I am not aware of a second tank, but I will follow up with my maintenance supervisor for more information. Additionally, all of the security codes have been deleted. Access can only be gained to the community now with a key. I'm glad our maintenance staff was helpful to you, and that you enjoyed our amenities and the fireplace and closets in your apartment. As for your concern about pricing, we do adjust rates to best reflect the current market value for the types of apartments available. These rates can fluctuate daily, and we do our best to communicate rate changes to residents during the renewal process. Utilities at Liberty Park include electric (AC, cooking, lights) gas (heat and hot water), and water/sewer. Gas and electric are paid directly to the utility companies, while water/sewer is metered and the costs are paid with the resident's rent. Please let me know if you have any questions about this policy. All noise complaints should be reported to the office, and we will address them immediately. If there is a major disturbance after hours, we recommend residents call the police and then follow up with us the next day. It is important to us that everyone is comfortable in their home. Regarding trash, we have one compactor for the property. If people dispose of items that are too large, it can jam, however we always address this immediately. Additionally, we are happy to have pets on our property. This does require that residents all help to take care of their pet's waste. We provide plenty of dog stations and bags for residents to clean up, and we do issue fines to anyone seen not adhering to this policy. I'm glad to hear that you are overall satisfied with life in our community. Residents are responsible for all utilities: water, sewer, electric and gas (heat and hot water). We do our best to inform every prospective resident when they tour the property, and we give them a range of expected costs. I apologize for any confusion. The hot water tank is located outside on the balcony. In order for it not to freeze, there is an electric heater attached. The heaters get turned on in December and turned off in March/April.
