We've been living here for about 3 months now, and after living in several other apt buildings in recent years, this one is not the best, but not the worst. The most difficult thing for us to deal with is the noise level. Most of the residents here are kind and friendly, but some are loud and have the occasional late night party. The worst thing is the building construction. I have never lived in a place where I could hear my neighbors upstairs so much. I know the residents above me are not a family of elephants, but it sure sounds like it at times. It is definitely the fault of the building construction because you can hear footsteps throughout the entire building.

As for location, the convenience of the apartments is nice since there are tons of things close by (grocery stores, malls, freeway access, etc). The grounds are also fairly well kept too. The handyman that works here is always around and is very kind.

Now the leasing office, that's been a problem. Getting mail and packages delivered here is an issue. The leasing office staff is obviously not well organized and have sent us notices for late rent fees that were not even applicable to us, and was a mistake on their part. They also surprised us with the need for renters insurance AFTER signing our lease. We've also had very important documents overnighted to us, that the leasing office signed for, and we were never notified. We had to track the package down through UPS, only to find that the leasing office had it for weeks.

If you have a pet, the apt building does allow pets for a fee each month. Beware of the pet Natzie's that live here. There are designated areas to walk your pet (sort of), and if you are caught WALKING your pet on the wrong grassy area, some residents here will report you and tell you to get off the lawn (even if your dog was just walking on the grass). The leasing office handed out flyers stating that if you are caught violating their rules, you will be fined!
(very kind of them...i'll be sure to tell my dog to hold his pee until we get all the way to the proper tree).

Other than that, the apt is decent inside. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Parking isn't too bad, and they maitain the grounds well.

I hope to not extend my lease here when it is up.
