This used to be a very nice building at a good price. I got evicted along with everyone else, but I was happy to hear they were doing renovations. The building had (still has) one major problem: horrible heating/A-C units. There's a unit in each bedroom & living room, and they're loud. We would always just run the heater in the room we weren't in, so the noise wouldn't be so annoying. But on particularly hot or cold nights, the units in our upstairs neighbor's apartment would be so loud that they'd shake the floor and keep us awake at night. Also, they're very inefficient. We paid $400+/month for heat in Jan/Feb.
I assumed those heating/A-C units would be upgraded as part of the renovations, or replaced with central air. But I've seen the renovated building. They've upgraded everything that was already okay, but they kept the noisy, inefficient heaters!
I had planned on moving back into Harvard Towers, but I'm not sure I will now.
