Hello, We are very sorry about your negative experiences with us. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify how we can improve the community. Our current team has been working on a number of projects including a large scale pipe replacement to fix the building's old and weakened system. Our current team was not in place to handle the worms in the pool, but we have not received any similar complaints recently. We will keep an eye on this issue just in case. We work hard each day to make sure all of our residents are happy and comfortable in their homes, and we read these reviews to help us learn how we can improve. I hope you and I can work together to make things right. As for your concern about pricing, we do adjust rates to best reflect the current market value for the types of apartments available. These rates can fluctuate daily, and we do our best to communicate rate changes to residents during the renewal process. We apologize for the hot water shut offs. We have not had to shut off hot water for several months, and will do our best to prevent this from happening again. We have recently completed several projects at the community, including elevator and laundry room renovations. Thank you for your patience while we worked to make improvements to Walden Park. As for the laundry prices, I have been the manager since February 2013, and the price has remained constant since then. Please let me know if you have any further feedback. We're sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. I am new to Walden Park, and am ensuring that our staff addresses some of the items you've mentioned here. Three of our four elevators are fully functional, and we are working on the fourth one. The improvements to the heating system should be completed by May. Additionally, we have just added two new treadmills to our 24-hour fitness center. We value you as a resident, and appreciate your patience as we upgrade our community. The customer satisfaction rating our our own website is based off customer surveys provided to all of our residents over the course of their stay with us. In the case of our property, there have been 114 residents who have completed the survey, and that is the basis for the 4/5 star rating, including the comments from those renters below the star rating. Regarding the hot water, we are working to resolve the issue, and are converting the building from oil to natural gas heat. Unfortunately, it is a large-scale project and will take some time. When the water went out, we responded immediately. We are working on modernizing the elevators and completely re-doing the mechanics so they are faster, safer, and more reliable. This project does require one elevator to be shut down for several months. The project was completed in our other building earlier this year, and was very successful. We appreciate your patience. The doors should not be propped open. Our vendors should know that, and we will reach out to them to clarify. Thank you for alerting us of this issue.
