Living here was fine. Nothing special about the apartment, but the neighborhood is really nice. Moving out was the problem. No one walked thru our apartment with us to make sure everything was satisfactory even though I asked them to. A month after move-out, I get my deposit back and they took $250 out for re-painting the apartment. First of all, the apartment was freshly painted when we moved in. Secondly, the leasing consultant told us we only would have to prime a wall we painted ourselves when we move out (we didn't paint any walls). Lastly, I don't understand why it needed repainting anyway. The walls merely required a touch up to cover the nail holes. My husband called the office to ask them about this, and he was told the maintenance crew decides whether or not an apartment needs to be painted. Then why didn't they walk thru it with us and tell us it needed a new paint job? I think that is sloppy management. I called the office to talk to the manager about this, and no one answered my four phone calls, and no one returned my emails. They should not treat residents this way, and that is why I think you should pick somewhere else to live. They're nice to you when you live there, but they seem to not care about you when you are gone. I seem to remember someone else making this exact point when I read reviews of this place before I moved in.
