Resident 2009 - 2010

7/7/2010

This community is nice at first glance, but don't let the high price fool you into thinking it's a luxurious complex. The units are serviced by one maintenance staff. The rest of the staff you will never see, since they work at a far way office. It's newer than most properties in the area, but the 5 year old complex is showing its age already with a lack of proper upkeep. The community garbage dumpsters are routinely overfull and the community sends out threatening letters to the residents when you place your garbage next to the dumpster (when it's full). Parking for guest is non-existent, which is frustrating for you and them when they come over. A large portion of the community lamps are burnt out making the community less safe and less appealing at night. Most of the maintenance requests I've submitted have been addressed, but not necessarily in a timely manner or with quality results. The units lack proper insulation between them, so you can easily hear your neighbors talking or their TV (when you re trying to have quite time). The units only have mini water heaters, so after a shower and a half you re out of hot water. Ants are always an issue in the summer, but I battle spiders and other bugs year round. Basically I don't hate that I live here, but I'm not satisfied with the quality of the complex and my unit, given the fact that I pay $2100 a month to live here. I'm seriously considering moving out after my year lease ends.
