I recently moved to Saxony apartments, and they appear to have only on glaring problem which i will get to, but only after i list the good things about the place.
The Pros
Decently sized apartment, clean with some really cool accents. The water pressure is good and the showers get nice and hot. Food disposal and dishwasher in unit, included utilities. the office staff are nice and friendly, and the maintenance guys are super helpful and responsive. There is literally nothing wrong with these apartments. The neighbors seem nice and it is a very quit place to live. I would move here again in a heartbeat.
The Cons
Parking is an unmitigated disaster. There are a few assigned spots, but you do not get one for moving in. You need to go onto a waiting list, which you are not automatically placed on. Parking is first com first serve, and some of the parking spots play host to dumpsters. This means that there is a chance that you may not be able to park at the complex at all. If you get home later at night, you can be assured that you will have a nice long walk home. Traversing 50%-75% of the complex to walk home from your parked car is, in my experience, not uncommon. This must be different for those special elite few that get those coveted assigned parking spots, but as i am still on the waiting list. This is my life now.
