I am writing this review because I disagree completely with the previous review which is at the top of the list of reviews and was submitted on 4/30/2018 and will address each of the issues raised erroneously in that review. Hopefully this review will appear before that one. Zack is the current property manager and everything is not "crap" here or even close to that. There is no "trash everywhere . The halls and parking lots are kept quite clean. I have never seen any "broken beer bottle glass" anywhere on the property and no "vomit". I have never seen anything even remotely resembling a "drug deal" in the parking lots. If I did I would of course call the police and the property manager to resolve such an issue. I have no idea how many are on the maintenance staff, but any work orders or requests for maintenance have been dealt with within an hour or two or, if not essential, within 24 hours. Again I have never seen any "drug deals out in the open" or anywhere and I stay up quite late at night. I have never seen "cars pulling up" other than residents parking. The comments about the property manager favoring Section 8 tenants because of government money is totally ridiculous. First of all the property manager, Zack most likely does NOT work on commission. His job is to manage a property where 40% of the tenants have a rent subsidized apartment and 60% pay market rate. Indeed the total amount that Beacon Communities receive for rent subsidized apartments from government sources and these residents who need these apartments is approximately 2/3 what they get for market rate apartments. So, there is no extra money for rent subsidized apartments. I find this to be an extremely safe environment and building to live in with key fob access for tenants only. I am sure it is possible for others to slip in , but I have not seen any of that happen. There are several children living here and they all are very sweet and polite. I actually very rarely see or hear them. I haven't noticed any teen age kids around at all. Maintenance of course have master keys for the apartments but they always knock and wait for a response an appropriate amount of time. They do enter if you are not home to fix things which seems fine to me. I have also not witnessed o heard of any vandalism in the parking lots. I don't have a pet so I am not sure about the pet policy, but I see that pets are allowed. I am sure that "half of the building does not own Labrador retrievers". I am guessing that larger size animals are not allowed here, as I mostly see smaller dogs only. I am told by the property manager that the pet policy only allows pets to be removed if there are significant signs of animal abuse, which I do approve of. My summary is that I love living here and have found the property manager and his assistant as well as the maintenance staff to be very professional and efficient. The apartments are gorgeous with virtually every amenity you can think of: Central Air/Heat, Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal, Microwave, and full size Washer and Dryer. I feel quite safe here and would recommend this to anyone as a desirable place to live. Please ignore the review that follows this as it was written by somebody with quite a negative attitude in life who appears to be harboring some personal grudge, or is maybe just a negative person.
