160 Pleasant Street Apartments

I'm not sure what horrible experiences people have had, but mine was very nice. The building I lived in before this had a tyrannical and psychotic manager, so I have a frame of reference to say that, as available and understanding management goes, they're pretty good. When we bought out, understood and made an allowance for us. Responded to concerns about noise of neighbors and the gym. Had one thing break in the apartment once, they sent someone right up within about 20 minutes. Laundry in unit. That was wonderful. Right near the T, and stop and shop, and a parking garage in the building. The elevator had problems once or twice, but there were workers on it right away--all the management can do is get people on it, and if those people mess up or need new parts there isn't much they can do about it. One elevator always worked (there are 2), but seriously: unless you're injured/sick/disabled, taking the stairs won't kill you. Gym does get crowded sometimes. Only thing that actually bothered me was fire alarms, but that's because morons down the hall kept burning things and then instead of opening the windows they opened the door to the hall. Best building I've lived in.
