Thanks for taking the time to share this great feedback. From a management point of view we care very much about enforcing the no-smoking policy. That being said it is one of the most challenging aspects of our job as we rely very much on feedback from residents about who is breaking the rules. If you feel comfortable, please reach out to our team whenever you see residents not following the rules. This allows us to document the lease violations and we will address the issue with those who violate it and move toward legal actions if they fail to curb their actions. When we went smoke free a couple years ago we knew it would be a challenge, but it is one we are dedicated to accomplish. Since taking over management we have and continue to spend a lot of money and effort to upgrade the community common areas, individual homes, and building exteriors. We work hard each day to make it a great place to call home and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue toward this goal. Please continue to communicate issues to our team and we'll keep working hard with the hope that you will be proud to call Station Pointe home for years to come. I'm not sure what prompted this review as it states you lived there from 2002-2005. Beacon Communities was not managing the community at that time. In general I can assure you that in the state of Massachusetts, nobody can be evicted without a clearly demonstrated reason. I can also tell you that under the new management (Beacon Communities) we never accept cash for rent payments. All checks/money orders are made out to a business entity so they cannot be cashed or "Pocketed" by anyone. If anyone ever attempted to do so the bank would be able to track who cashed the check and that person would be promptly terminated. Our team is filled with fantastic people who care very much about our residents and work hard to make sure the community is a great place to call home.
