If I had the time to move right now, I would. While there's ample parking (a major concern in Boston) there aren't nearly enough lights in the lot - especially nearest the T, and the buildings were built worse than a college dorm. There's NO ventilation in the halls (not even a window to open) - so if it's hot and humid outside, it's just as bad or worse inside. If your neighbor smokes, you might as well pick up the habit, because your place will smell like smoke. And if your neighbors like to have dance parties (as 2 of mine apparently do), you will hear every beat of the bass. I know apartment living is never going to be like living in your own place, but this is ridiculous. I shouldn't be able to tell what song they're playing in the apt below me when I have my air conditioner and TV on. I've lived in 5 apt complexes in my life, and this is by far the worst. I went to college and lived in the dorms - it was quieter there.
