Decent for a first apartment, but now that I moved elsewhere, I see what Talbot Woods was lacking.
Main gripes:
-total weirdo living in nearby apartment, hoarded potato chips and other food, had a disgusting smell coming from his apartment...he also had three cars (all for one person), two of which were always parked in the prime parking spaces (one of them never moved the entire year I was there- it was just for storage of food)
-maintenance was subpar: had a huge water leak in the apartment- when maintenance came in to fix it, they left various "treats" around our space: a lighter on the floor, STAINS in the toilet bowl, dirt and paint everywhere, etc. I don't know what business they had using our bathroom while they were in there- that is GROSS! At least clean up after yourselves!
-laundry was a joke- not enough machines to go around, and the ones that were there rarely all worked at the same time.
Overall it wasn't awful, but the poor experiences I did have there put a bad taste in my mouth. The rent is pretty high for a place like that, especially in Middleboro! I wouldn't recommend living there.
