I lived in this apartment complex for a year during 2012-2013. It is an older complex built in the 80s, with older appliances but quite sturdily built. There is a long-term resident population of elderly folks who provide a sense of place and community. Intermixed are more transient folks who are moving to the area and often have young children. The apartment is located in a nice section of needham less that 1/2 mile to Trader Joes/CVS and the Boston train.
I recommend it strongly - of course, it lacks all the knick-knacks of modern apartment complexes but more than compensates with its quality construction and sound proofing, location and charming community of elders.
