I lived here a few years back (2004-2007) and really liked it. I would recommend it to anyone Good points: 1) The location is amazing. You can walking anywhere downtown, and are close to the interstate for commutes to Holyoke or Springfield. 2) You actually get a parking spot, which is unheard of downtown. Seriously, that is worth a lot. 3) It is warm during the winter and cool during the summer due to its construction. 4) It is very clean. 5) If Scott is still there, he was an EXCELLENT grounds manager. Seriously, he would be there very quickly to fix things and even helped me dig my car out of the snow a couple of times. What a nice guy. 6) Secure entrance - even though it is a safe town, that makes you feel better. 7) My two bedroom apt had two bathrooms! While it seemed kind of excessive, it made it easier to have a roommate. 8) A huge beautiful window in every living room. Bad points: 1) It can get loud outside--you might hear people walking at night or you might hear the fountain in the courtyard. Of course, part of that is just living downtown. 2) It is kind of expensive! (That is why I eventually moved out) 3) There is no laundry in the unit, so you'd have to walk down the hall. Every floor has 2 washers and 2 dryers, and occasionally I'd have to sneak up or down a floor to use theirs, since ours was taken.
