Highpoint is fine, not luxury. The grounds are very nice, the interiors of the apartments (at least ours) are dated. The formica is peeling in our bathrooms and kitchen, the fridge is inefficient and leaky, the washer and dryer are half capacity (not what we were shown on the tour) and our power bill regularly overs at $200/month. You will pay extra for the gym/pool, sewer, water, and pets but they don't tell you that on the tour. You will also have to pay to have the locks changed when you move in. It's fine but you can find a better value elsewhere, they nickel and dime you here. The front office staff is very friendly and maintenance is responsive. The dog park is great if you have a dog. The gym is small, hot, crowded, and often the machines don't work. The pool is nice in the summer - open memorial day to labor day.
