I have enjoyed living at Neponset Landing on and off for 6 years. For the first time I had a maintenance issue. I asked that a light bulb be changed on the track lighting which is located on the ceiling. I do not own a step ladder and it is rather high. I was told "maintenance does not do that anymore unless you supply light bulbs".. After going on three years of living in the same unit(also, lived on the 5th and 9th floor), I asked if the rug could be steam cleaned. They agreed. The area rugs were not moved, the furniture was not moved, I asked for the carpeting behind the sofa be cleaned and it was not done. They simply vacuumed around everything and did a limited terrible job.The carpeting is falling apart and looks horrible! I also left a note to change the light bulb and left out a new package of bulbs. That was not done either. I emailed the leasing manager about my concerns and she never answered.Her out of office from last April was the reply!!! I have a dirty carpet and track lighting that does not work. So much for maintenance! I will say there is one great maintenance person. I should have spoken to him directly and avoided the leasing office. My rent has increased the max each month and not sure if I will stay. They have received approx. 24k a year from me for 6 years! After spending almost 100k I deserve better! Dan Heller Unit 419

Good morning, Dan - I sincerely apologize the carpet wasn't steam cleaned properly. As I stated in my personal email reply to you earlier this morning, I do want to take care of this for you once & for all. I will respond to you directly as soon as I hear from Tom, our Maintenance Manager, with some possible times that may work for you. I have also spoken with the maintenance team member who steamed your carpets initially & he apologizes for the poor workmanship, as do I. We will also install the light bulb for you - not a problem. This should have been done that day, you're right. I also want to apologize for the error in my out of office message while I was away at a conference - I have a fairly "new to me" version of Outlook & didn't realize my out of office message wouldn't copy over for those "out of my organization", versus "in". I just returned to the office today & responded to your email first thing. Please feel free to reach out to the leasing office directly in my absence for any future needs. As you may already know, we are open seven days a week for concerns or issues such as this. We really appreciate our long-standing residents. I will be back in touch with you later on today so that we can arrange to re-steam your carpets for you & replace that bulb. I do want to make this right. Thank you, Molly
