Capt. John Dougan said the woman was in her unit at the Neponset Landing, a luxury condominium building on Hancock Street adjacent to the Neponset Bridge, when she heard what sounded like gunshots or fireworks around 9:30 p.m. Dougan said the woman was moving her blinds to look out the window when she heard the sound of breaking glass and immediately called 911. Dougan said State Police investigators later found a hole in the woman's window and a bullet in her unit. He said the bullet came from the Dorchester side of the Neponset River and referred questions to Boston and State police. Dave Procopio, a spokesman for State Police, said investigators working on the Boston side of the river found several shell casings under the Neponset Bridge and interviewed one young man who was not arrested. He said witness reported seeing three young men in the area. Procopio said a firearm was later found on Franklin Street. He said State Police had received no reports of injuries. Myeshia Henderson, a spokeswoman for Boston police, said officers responding to the shooting found two men, one from Boston and one from Brockton, who were charged with trespassing.
