My wife and I recently moved out of Rosemont Square. Prior to the move, we sat with the community manager and asst community manager to go through the move out process and dates. We were told by the community asst manager our lease was up on May 1st, 2019 and not May 4th, 2019 as it was listed on our lease. Based on the May 1st, 2019 date we were given, we paid our rent for the month of April and planned a move out date prior to 5/1/19. On April 29th, 2019, we returned 2 sets of keys to the staff in the main office. On May 6th, 2019, Rosemont Square sent us a bill in the amount of $218.06, stating that we are responsible for paying up to the date that is on the lease (5/4/19). We reached out to the community manager and asst community manager and they denied that either one of them told us about the May 1st date. Over the last 3 weeks my wife and I reached out to the manager to setup a walk through of the apt prior to 5/1, and did not get any response. We feel the manager knowingly did not return any calls/emails in order to charge for a 5/4/19 move out date.
