I've lived at Northgate Apts. since November 2003. I moved back from Boston's Back Bay to find a rental, fast, when and since my dad was dying and my widowed mom needed caregiving. Especially since new management came in couple of years ago like gangbusters, they have gone top-to-bottom through this place and upgraded/fixed it throughout. In the big picture for an apartment complext in the area, let alone in Revere, I think it's pretty decent. It also has reasonable rents, an in-ground outdoor swimming pool open during summertime, a children's playground area, ample parking, and card-credits-operated new digital laundry. The office and maintenance staff are on-the-ball and neat. Drawbacks are many families with loud kids, sometimes late-night loud cars, tenants and music. But it's an apartment complext off large cross-highways. For the money, and near to everything and everyone, it's very decent. The "drugs and bad stuff" crap is a way-overrated legend. For the most part, the increasingly ethnically diverse tenant population is very nice and good people who look out for each other, too.
