Imperial Village Apartments

I've been living here for a while. I really liked this place in the beginning because it is more affordable than other places, but in the end the maintenance people stop caring and I have to suck it up until I move out. In the end, you get what you pay for... If you are on first or second floor and/or your neighbors have big families with babies and kids, you are out of luck. The walls and ceilings are super thin and you can hear people arguing, screaming and crying all the time. I am a light sleeper and it drives me crazy because I never get good quality sleep. I need a pair of ear plugs and an over-ear noise canceling headset if I want to sleep, study or read books without interruption. When I moved in, appliances were old and dirty, and bath tubs and faucets were damaged. A/C is so old... loud and not cooling well. Just buy your own brand new A/C. Not exactly what I expected. When I complained about the appliance, I got an older, refurbished and still gross-looking one instead. I never used the tub for bathing because it's disgusting. I reported it but again nothing has been done. They will never spend money on you once you sign the lease. Things should look brand new (if not almost) but this apartment is not even close to it. The apartment has been painted too many times and the doors and walls started cracking and peeling. My apartments ceilings got some stains from water damage and I requested to fix the leaking problem upstairs, but somehow painters came in and they just painted on them. In a few weeks, stains came back. This place is good for a temporary place (one year or less) and that is it. Nothing more. You get what you pay for and you will want to move out soon. I can't wait...
