Resident 2010 Recommended

I lived in a 3rd floor, 2br apartment about 1000 sq. feet from March to November. At the time, it was $850/month. I got my entire deposit back when I moved out. I have moved around a lot, and this apartment felt most like home. I would still be living there now if the office had allowed my boyfriend to move in, too. Pros: -very spacious living room -plenty of closet space -eat-in kitchen -attentive maintenance -never had a problem finding parking -excellent location -the current (2012) office manager started working there when I was on my way out and she was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, the woman working in there as a temp before was a NIGHTMARE. I'm glad to see that Imperial didn't keep her around. Cons: -small bathroom. I overcame this with an over-the-toilet shelving unit. -kitchen cabinet space is minimal and there's no good place to put a microwave on the counter. I put a metal shelving rack against the wall for additional pantry space and put the microwave on top of that. -the pool happens to be located in a spot outside where a LOT of pollen floats around. I don't have allergies, but I imagine it may bother others. - Heat probably costs an arm and a leg. I didn't live there during the winter, but during my lease break I had to still pay the utilities in Jan and Feb: $100/month for 60 degree set thermostat. YIKES! I can only imagine what it would cost if it were set at a reasonable temperature. FYI: -In the building I lived, the carpeting and walls in the hallways were quite an eyesore, but I didn't particularly care. -I almost never heard noise from my neighbors. There was one noise incident that I contacted the office about, and it stopped the next day. -You need to think long and hard about moving here if you are moving in with someone else or may ever plan on having someone else move in. I have stellar credit, but the office rejected the application of a potential roommate because of one blemish on his credit, even though he made more money than me and he had 7 years of good standing with his current landlord.
