The Coolidge at Sudbury

It's average community, not many benefits but it's affordable income (thankfully) so it's OK with me. They say heat included but it's forced hot air and you have to run the fan (electric) to force the heat. So really, we pay for heat and this averages $50.00-$100.00 per month. The grounds are under construction but even without this the landscape is minimal, just mowing. No thought or expense given to landscaping. Left up to residents (for those who like to container garden) and because of this the end result is not uniform and inter community fighting about who can garden and where. Management favors some residents over others and this is noticed by all residents. With Covid-19 and shelter in place, 20% of the community refuses to wear protective face masks but are allowed to roam throughout the building. Plowing is good in the winter and they clear the walkways, this helps the people with walkers and dogs. There are many indoor activities, book club, knitting, bingo, exercise for those that are house bound and a monthly birthday party. At the end of the day, the price is right but will have to deal with inter-community politics.
