BLACK MOLD AND ASBESTOS: When replacing the tile in the bathroom, rather than remove the previous tile, the contractors just built over it. pulling it up exposes years of black mold build up, as seen in the picture below. This is a picture of my neighbor's unit. It took the staff two years to fix the problem, they refused to acknowledge it. Some units still have asbestos in the ceiling tiles as well. When I moved in there was still feces caked onto the bottom of the toilet bowl. The upstairs unit's shower leaked through the floor and made a hole through the ceiling panels.
The staff is rude and arbitrary. a quick survey of most residents in the complex shows just how dissatisfied the renters are with them.
SECURITY DEPOSIT WITHHELD: I was sent a bill in the mail when I moved out which included a $15 fee to wipe down the kitchen counter, which is less than six feet in length. $15 for a broken mirror that was in perfect condition when I left, $10 dollars to clean the sink which was spotless, another $15 for the toilet, and $10 for the tub. $25 for garbage collection and $25 for removal. When all was said and done $190 and change was taken out of the security deposit. When I called to dispute, the desk worker, was aggressive and dismissive. The first woman I spoke to hung up on me and the second yelled at me. She said she would send me pictures of the "mess" that I left, but never did.
