Cronin's Landing Apartments

During my stay here, Cronin's Landing has deteriorated from a great place to live to an absolute nightmare. Blame this squarely on management, which is too bad because the other employees are friendly (the front desk is very helpful). The really great people have left in the past year, leaving a pretty cold bunch in the office.

Still, for the past year, I have had to run the taps for 3-4 minutes before the water turns hot (note that the fixtures are actually very cheap considering the price to rent). The air conditioning has been down sporadically for three out of the last three summers, so if you live on an upper floor, your apartment will get to over one hundred degrees quickly (even today, the apartment is ninety degrees with the A/C on). The windows have not been cleaned the entire time I have been here. In any case, I am glad to be moving out.

The real shocker is when you leave. Do not count on getting your security deposit back. There are dozens of charges, which can run you into the thousands of dollars (cleaning, damage, late notice, etc).

P.S. The automated parking garage gates still do not work after a couple of years. This is a running joke because they have been repaired/replaced probably a dozen times. Even today, someone was working on them.
