Resident 2015 - 2016 Not Recommended
Reviewed 06/29/2016
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! When I first moved into this apartment in July of 2015 it was great! SInce then, the management company has changed and everything has gone downhill. The front door is never locked so ANYBODY can just come in the building (it is supposed to be locked and guests are supposed to be buzzed in). On the weekends trash builds up inside the building because the trash chute backs up and the entire building smells like garbage and flies are flying around. Parking is $150 per month per car. You're supposed to have an assigned space but sometimes people's guests park in your space and the leasing office does nothing about it. You're essentially paying $150 for other people to park in your space. The new rental office manager Christina never responds to emails or voicemails and is sometimes not in the office during office hours. Aside from the management, the building is old and raggedy. The walls are so thin that I can literally hear EVERYTHING our neighbors say and do. Water has been shut off in the building several days a week recently for construction. Also, if you don't work a 9-5, don't plan on enjoying your apartment during the day. The construction begins at 7am and sometimes goes until 7pm. Its loud from drilling and banging and the construction workers in the hallway listening to music. There are much better apartment buildings downtown and I can't wait to move! Oh and they have the nerve to try to increase our rent by almost $250 PER MONTH for next year...hahahaha
