My fiance and I began living at Burnam Woods in beginning of March, 2009. The apartments are huge, which we loved, but the building we lived in reeked of smoke, which eventually filtered into our apartment. The smoke smell was so heavy and overwhelming that we had to move. Maintenance was helpful with common, everyday fixes, but when it came to the smoke issue, they told us that there was not much they could do (aside from "sealing the pipes" which didn't make any difference). If you're a non-smoker or have medical issues, this place is not for you! The staff seemed nice when we first went to rent the apartment, but no one seems to have authority to make the big decisions, which is really frustrating!
