Thus far, I don't have any complaints about living here. I have lived here for about a year now. I chose this apartment for its location and rent price. I am a commuter so I needed a place that is near all the major transportation outlet. This apartment is sandwich between the light rail, Penn /Marc station, subway, and several major bus lines; all are within short walking distance. For those who own cars there are several nearby parking garages which will allow you to park there for a monthly fee. UB parking is 30 seconds away. This apartment does not have property parking, unfortunately.
Rent price starts off below 1000 mark depending on apartment size. To me, that price is great given the location. I refer to this location as the UB locations because UB is right around the corner from here. During the day the streets are busy and buzzing with walkers and traffic but starting around 6 o'clock, things simmer down to a nice quiet evening. The Harbor is approximately 10 minutes ride away (minus traffic lights) vs a 20-25 minutes away by walking. Maintenance response quickly to request and the workmanship is great. I placed a request during the morning and got a reply to this request by mid day with service completed by the time I got home from work, 5:30. The property is kept clean. Management is polite and professional. Neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and sit in coffee houses; I recommend you check out the Nu Bohemian coffee house.
Overall, I would recommend this location. I plan to stay here until I buy my first home or move out of state, CA or NY.
