The noise in the living room and Bedroom is horrible and uncomfortable and acceptable. The loose floorboards above me squeak louder than my highest television volume. I live under a 5 member family who stomps and walks over the boards all day. I have asked for the boards to be fixed! This process has been going on over a year. It's very frustrating. My mother left this apartment because she couldn't rest here. She was going the chemotherapy at the time so I assumed maybe it wasn't as bad as she made it seem. So I continued paying her rent like I always have and I decided to move in as she and my Dad reconciled. My plan was to be here and save until I was ready to buy my house. I had no idea it really was this bad. The old property manager ran me through so many hoops because I was trying to get this maintenance request done. I went to them over 10 times. Including doing 3 applications to change the lease. Since Morgan Properties has taken over Ive gone to the office 6 times or so. Submitted another application and paid a fee. Still NOTHING has been done. Talking to the neighbors above me there 5 ppl living there and he admitted that usually someone is always awake. So there is never a break from the noise. During the holidays they have had visitors which has made this worst recently. There are squeaks and stomps and noise 24/7! Paying almost $1400 dollars a month and not being able to get decent sleep and rest is pissing me off. I have never paid rent late, they have never offered me any discounts, and recently just asked me if I wanted to move to a different apartment. As if changing my info and address and hauling furniture from place to place is easy. So that isn't fair to me either. Moving would just cost me more money and time. So now I'm stressed trying to decide if I can find a good place to live in the next 45-55 days before the lease ends. Don't get trapped paying this kind of money and not even be able to sleep at night or in the day or ever!
