Lived at Kent Crossing from 2005-2007 during college. I had a 2BR/2Bath unit which was great. Huge layouts with lots of space. I was living at college 3 hours from home so all the room and extra bath were helpful when family/friends came to visit. During the time I lived at KC, the appliances/kitchen were new or in like-new condition, along with the washer and dryer. The whole apartment was modern and very well-kept. Entryways and landscaping well-maintained and the door to each apartment was very heavy metal with deadbolt, very secure place and in a great neighborhood. During my stay, the fridge completely died on me during the summer. Needless to say, I lost everything I had in it! Fortunately, I didn't have it really loaded up since it was just me living by myself. Maintenance came immediately and fixed it, but it quit again two days later. By week's end, I had a brand new fridge when I came back from class one day! When it was time to move out, I took my keys to the office, they did their walk-through, and we got our security deposit back minus a few $ for carpet-cleaning and repainting (which could be expected after 2 years of wear & tear.
I know I'm late in writing this review. I just thought Kent Crossing should have a review on here. As stated, I haven't lived there since 2007 but their website looks the same so I'm assuming they are still managed by the same people, so I'd also assume they're still doing a great job! I feel as though I didn't appreciate how great this place was until this point in life, because KC was my first apartment experience. I lived in 2 other apartments since then in 2 different cities, and they were both terrible experiences compared to Kent Crossing. Unfortunately, it seems like these other sub-par apartments are more the norm, with KC being an exceptionally great place to live. If I knew then what I know now, I'd appreciate every single minute of living at KC. As long as things have stayed relatively the same at Kent Crossing, don't hesitate for a minute to rent there. You will have a great experience, possibly the best apartment-rental experience available anywhere. Just don't expect the same treatment elsewhere after you've moved on, since most other places just don't stack up. Cheers!
(Full Disclosure: I am in no way affiliated with Kent Crossing or its management. I am simply someone who lived there in college and has experienced the ups and downs of renting at several other properties since then. I've settled in a townhouse now, so I'm 'hopefully' done with the renting game. But this place was awesome in hindsight. They really set the bar high for my later leasing experiences.)
