I've had multiple complaints since I moved in that were not addressed to my satisfaction, such as the scratched up bathroom sink that always looks dirty no matter what I do and should have been replaced prior to my arrival, along with the washing machine that continues to tatter and stain my belongings. Nonetheless, I have learned to live with those inconveniences. My frustration today has to do with my most recent maintenance request, which I placed a week ago today. One of the track lights in my kitchen is out; so I entered a maintenance request on Thursday, June 20. When I stopped by the leasing office on Saturday, June 22 because the light was still out, I was told that it had not been 72 hours, weekends don't count, and it was not an emergency. In short, I was made to feel like a nuisance, although my complaints are few and far between, and legitimate. As of this morning, June 27, when I left, my light still was out. I would change it myself, but don't feel safe doing so because of the way the light is connected to the hardware.
