I will agree with many of the comments posted about Alyssa. She is always very nice, accomodating and empathic. Management however tries to turn over these apartments obviously faster than they need to and should. They are not by any means "move in ready". The work is not complete or thorough and the expectation is that you will have many work orders when you move into a newly renovated apartment and that just shouldn't be. I moved into an apartment that was not clean to the standards I have come to expect when I've moved into other apartments. A new tenant shouldn't need to have to send in numerous work orders for a place that should basically be in excellent, clean condition. I found trash in my unit, unclean toilets, a storage room filled with spiders (despite being told that bugs are not an issue in the property), a rust rotted door, an unbolted down toilet and dishwasher, a poorly functioning water heater, non working outlets, no heat within my first two weeks and a bug in my bed and I have been bitten all OVER by what appears to be spider bites. If the appropriate time had been taken to renovate, repair and inspect properly than none of this would happen. But instead they are unflexible with move in dates for an apartment that was not ready to be lived in and that is unacceptable. The changes to the apartments are nice but do it right before moving tenants in. Anything else is unethical. The maintenance crew (Carlos) is very nice as is Alyssa and responds to issues quickly. But even they have to be overburdened by these situations and it is unfair to both them and new tenants.
