Cedar Valley Apartments

We have lived at Cedar Valley for more than two years and moved here when it was owned by another company. It was OK back then because of how cheap rent was compared with other places. Since Avalon has bought this place there have been so many improvements. 1. Maintenance is wonderful. There were times in previous years where a broken dishwasher would go un-fixed for weeks. Now I call in a problem and maintenance workers arrive at my place within a day at most. They are competent and know what they are doing. HUGE improvement. 2. Going after problem tenants. There was an extreme ------ couple living in my building since I moved here. They caused more problems than anyone I've ever seen at any complex I have ever lived at. This is no exaggeration. Constant domestic disputes, loud music, loud fighting, etc. After me and others complained to Avalon, they were evicted from the property. GOOD JOB. New neighbors moving in all over here are far more friendly and upscale than previous people. 3. Small things like apartment door numbers. The little address number thing on your front door had been missing from the entire complex since I moved here. There was nothing identifying what apartment was A-1 and what was A-2. Avalon posted nice signs on all doors which sounds silly but makes a difference when the wrong people no longer are knocking at your door to get in to visit their friends. Very happy with changes overall but I understand prices also will go up. We'll see how far. I am willing to pay a little more for these services.
