Here's what I only found out after moving in: This place makes units available to subsidized welfare tenants even while you're paying top dollar for your unit. Fine. Except that these tenants tend to have a different sense of etiquette - they blast music from their cars in the parking lot, shout on the phone in the public areas, etc. I feel like I'm living in a slum. Right now it's almost 10 pm and I can hear people shouting outside...because they think that's acceptable behavior. Also, we received a notice informing us to watch for suspicious behavior and report it - suggesting that there has been crime on the premises - but they do not disclose what the risk actually is. As someone else noted, they don't replace the carpet before you move in yet they require you to have it professionally cleaned before moving out and then they still might withhold your deposit. This is in addition to charging you monthly for having pets. One fee per pet. The annual lease actually lasts less than one full year because they say you have to move out on a Sunday so they pick a random Sunday for your lease to end, even though you have paid the 12 full months. They don't plow the parking area in the winter. The staff seems to do the least they can possibly get away with doing. The management company is big on sending satisfaction "surveys" but in reality the management does not respond to issues that arise. The trash regularly spills out over the dumpsters. They have recycling containers because it's required by law but they provide the bare minimum so these too are constantly overflowing. Do not consider moving here.
