Resident 1999 - 2002

2/28/2005

My experience was that the apartments were nicely sized but poorly maintained, and not only was the management rude, but they leased apartments to just about anybody. Someone in the next building had a truck with monster wheels and liked to race around the complex, and nothing was ever done about him. In my three years at T&C, the police were there at least a dozen times for domestic disputes, and nothing was ever done about those people either. And this was in Greensview, which is the "nice" part of the complex; the cops were ALWAYS at West. The faucet on my bathroom sink broke to the point where it was constantly running, and it took a month and two maintenance requests before it was fixed. Tenants pay for their own water bills, so apparently fixing sinks isn't a priority. I paid my rent on time every time, and not once did I feel like I was a valued tenant. To make things off, I was royally jerked around upon moving out, and the management tried to charge me three days' rent for Labor Day weekend when I turned in my keys on August 31st (the last day of my lease). I'd be interested to see how the name change and alleged renovations have changed things, but overall, there's a reason why these apartments are so cheap in a community that has some of the highest rents in the area.
