The apartments here are very well designed with lots of storage space and very limited shared walls. These apartments have a ton of light. Downtown Frederick is only a few minutes' drive, but walking to the downtown area is very difficult because there is no good route. What should or could be about a 20 or thirty-minute walk takes about an hour because of all the highways in between, that said, the almost immediate access to 70, 270, and 15 make the location great for driving. Sound insulation is good, though a decision to replace carpet with laminate flooring as apartments turn over has made noise transfer from upstairs apartments more frequent and noticeable. There was a problem with the trash areas for a while, but that was largely resolved by the last management change.
