Resident 2016 - 2017

6/12/2017

This place is a joke. They can't seem to keep employees there for longer than a few months. I lived there for one year and the girl who showed me around who had just started there, is now the assistant property manager. When I was given a tour of the facilities, she showed me a building with all brand new appliances, assuring me that all units had those appliances and were as up to date. I moved into my unit and it didn't look anything like the unit that I had toured. The washer was so old, it had a folding lid and the dryer wouldn't dry; it just spun air. When I gave them my move in checklist, stating that these items were not functioning, they scheduled a week day for them to come out (I had to be there) with an 8 hour time window. They never showed up. Once I finally complained, their property manager came out and helped. They let cars sit in guest spots for as long as they want, there is one car that never moved from a guest spot (which are few and far between) when I moved in to when I moved out. The grounds keeping company is terrible. They come maybe once a month, to plow through everything and anything in the mower's path and don't seem to care about landscaping or trash. There is trash everywhere. I came home from work one day to find multiple glass beer bottles broken in my parking spot. I had to clean it up myself, as the office is very unresponsive. The neighborhood is the sketchiest place I have ever lived. I've watched teenagers circle around the buildings like vultures, creeping into houses. I watched them stop and stare into my car and into other cars for extended periods of time. I had never felt so unsafe, I find it hard to believe that young families live there. The people who have dogs do not care about their neighbors at all. They let them poop all over the grass, where kids like to play, and don't pick it up. The walls are thin and cracking. I could hear everything that my neighbor said and did and I'm sure the same went for him. There are cracks all in the walls and ceilings, and honestly the houses probably have a structural issue. I would NEVER recommend this neighborhood to anyone. The only good thing that came out of it was that I found a really good sushi place about a mile away.
